So, what would you like to do now.

After the agreement to the terms set by Artemis, Green Arrow and Batman set her up to introduce her to the team. It is not shown in the way she is introduced to the rest of the team, but we do Artemis' first interaction between herself and Wally. You can see right off the bat these two could be something, because up to this point no one outside of Dick ever stands up to Wally about his snarky attitude. But in her opening line she gives "Wall-man, oh I love the uniform, what are your powers exactly." One can get a grip of her personality and the way she shows this side of herself to the team during the duration of this season.
After Oliver and Bruce explain to the team that she is his niece (which is a nice piece that Dick implies that it's a little convenient that their is another niece after revealing a few weeks earlier that Ms. Martian is Martian Manhunters' niece), Roy Harper walks in being fairly standoffish with Artemis; which will come into play later on in the season. After questioning her experience, he updates the team that he rescued a doctor from the League of Shadows. After revealing what the doctor invention does, Artemis reveals she knows something about the League, which will again come back later.
You can tell the tension between the team before they set out on the mission, particularly from Wally and Kaldur as they, along with Dick, wanted Roy on the team. So it's not exactly clear, thankfully, what hurts more for them; the fact that they have another archer on the team essentially saying Roy has no spot on the team, or the fact that Roy rejected the offer they made to him weeks ago.
That is all story wise for now. Sorry a lot of this selection was not about Artemis' character development from her perspective, but this scene is crucial in revealing many things about this character and her relationship with the team for the majority of the season. What I do like about this scene is that you get what most comic book fans would say, at least those that are not familiar with the comic title of the same name by Peter David, would probably have preferred Roy on the team, but she will prove herself to be someone that is completely different from the character Arrowette which she is slightly based off of in that comic series. This scene is also great in establishing the mysteries of this season that will be revealed long past this episode.
Thanks for reading, look for more soon to come.
