"Stop it, both of you. I can hear you glaring"

Once the team is in position, we see a figure with a Cheshire Cat mask that is slowly

taking out a few team members; some in very clever ways. Such as using marbles on Wally in mid-run, then knocking him into a pool so that his body will not be found for a while. After making her way to Aqualad and Dr. Roquette, you can see this character, as opposed to most of the other villians we have seen at this point, has a sense of humor; as she comments about being surprised that Kaldur survives her toxins do not knock him out immediately. What is interesting is while Ms. Martian gets some sort of sense that Wally is drowning because she Artemis and goes to get him out of the pool; this assassin seems to have something with Artemis because she says "This gigs' getting interesting" when she enters the room. Once Wally and Me'gan enter the room, she decides that it there are too many to deal with at the time, so she makes a smoke bomb to disappear.

After all this happens; Dr. Roquette gets upset that the assassin gets away, to which Wally takes this opportunity of tension to release some more insults on Artemis by asking how she got away with Artemis right next to her. Artemis, understandably, gets a little irritated and just glares at him for a moment, then something unexpected for her comes up; Me'gan starts to defend her in saying that Wally's criticism are not really fair as she was there as well. Wally just dismisses that defense, afterward making a comment about not being able to be mad at Me'gan because she gave him mouth to mouth, again that comment is in his thoughts; once again reminding him that they could hear him.

That is it for the story today guys. We do get some good bits that will be good set up for later with this assassin character, which is great considering it is the first scene they interact in; and it only gets better from here. Me'gan coming to her defense is yet another vital step in Artemis' trust level with this team; while Artemis does not get as close to Me'gan maybe as much as Zatanna, but this friendship they develop is clearly needed especially in the beginning.
