"No Way I'm Drowning Three Missions in a Row".

Alright, I am testing this format of containing two parts of these stories in one blog; I don't know how often this will happen because nearly every episode after this are one of two ways: One is that there will be no Artemis screen time, or there will be more than enough material for at least one blog, if not multiple parts. So let's begin, shall we.

In the comic arc 'Monkey Business', there is not much for Artemis' side of this story. This story is primarily focused on Me'gan and her attempt to rescue her teammates after they follow the leads from the mission in 'Alpha Male'. The team for the most part is taken by 'Ultra-Humanite' in 'Guerilla City' for this story. This arc introduces Grodd into this universe, as this story revolves around his journey to power(though this is not known until the end). To date, Grodd has not made an appearance in the series itself, but that could change once season 3 airs. Artemis' character bit is shown in one scene. Wally is hitting on Me'gan, as he has done in the past. Since 'Home Front', some could believe that Artemis starts to explore more of her feelings towards Wally; so in an attempt to make Wally jealous, she asks Conner if he wanted to go to a movie afterwards. The expressions on Me'gan and Wally's faces say far more than words could tell. Conner does have a nice response thinking that it could be a good team building exercise for the entire team.

'Revelation' has more than 'Monkey Business' in terms of character moments, but still not enough to justify it's own blog post. After the discovery of giant plants attacking the city, Bruce and Zatara come to tell the team of what they could do; but this is interrupted by the 'Injustice League'. Considering the fact that the league consist of major villians(somewhat): Joker, Poison Ivy, Atomic Skull, Ultra-Humanite, Wo-Tan, and Count Vertigo; they believe that this is the group that has been the brains behind all the problems they have been facing from the beginning. While Artemis is mostly quiet this scene, she is the first to suggest that the plants could have been combined with Kobra Venom, considering they all have recently seen the effects of this serum on animals. Artemis also in this scene is has another moment where she is the voice of the audience, where Wally is confused if the League is attacking the plants what they would be hitting. Artemis hits his shoulder a few times, basically telling him to think; if they are handling the plants, they would be hitting the Injustice League.

A quick mention of a scene where Artemis says one line of dialogue does show even a small character moment. The team is in the bio-ship and Me'gan starts getting a migraine while saying, "She doesn't feel well", to which Artemis says "I'm fine" very quickly. This may show that she is nervous as the entire scene ,leading up to those lines, is silent. While Me'gan refers to the bio-ship, it is still a point worth noting as it shows that while Artemis has gone on several missions already, as well as her childhood training, she still gets nervous(as anyone would) going up against several powerful characters.

The ship eventually crashes into the swamp. As the ship begins to fill with water, Artemis makes probably the best line in the episode, "No. No way I'm drowning three missions in a row". While she grabs a breathing tool, she does hand one to Wally. One could say that it's convenient that she brought two breathing tools, but considering that Dick only had one in "Home Front' and she would not feel right about taking his when he nearly drowns during that mission, she would naturally bring one just in case someone else had that experience; but she also trust very few things, so she may have brought another one in case she lost one of them.

The only other scene of note is that once the team breaks into the actual fight, Vertigo attacks Artemis and Wally clips his shoulder and breaks his arm in the process. After Wally gets behind a tree to rest a minute, Artemis does show her first aid ability where she makes him a splint. This scene some could say is the start of both of them being aware of how the other feels about each other, not in amnesia form, but both will be in denial about this for a few more episodes.

That's it guys. So, I guess 'Revelation' could have been long enough for it's own blog; but at least I could get the comic arc into this, as it is likely I would not mention that moment otherwise. Appreciate you guys bearing with me for this experiment. Next will be the episode 'Humanity'. Thanks, once again, for reading these guys.
