Alright guys, back for the final part of 'The Fix'. There is a lot to get to so let's conclude with this final part with a splash.

Once Artemis and Me'gan have entered into Kaldurs' subconscious; Artemis nearly drowns herself. This is a nice callback to season 1 where she kept getting into situations where she would nearly drown. Artemis continues to gasps for air until Me'gan reminds her that this is all in Kaldurs' mind and will not affect her unless she allows it.

Before they can make much progress, Me'gan and Artemis are attacked by Tula, who immediately goes after Me'gan in particular, understandably.

Artemis tries to reason with Tula until she remembers that if the environment isn't real, why would the person? After she gets away from Tula, Artemis finds Kaldur in what seems to be the Academy where he learned his sorcery from; and also where he found the most connection with Tula. Artemis goes to talk to him, but Kaldurs' facial features are removed.

While Me'gan still tries to defend herself against Tula's constant attacks, Artemis tries to explain to Kaldur what happened and where he is psychologically. Kaldur, speaking Atlantean, seems to want to die or at least stay brain dead; which is virtually the same thing. Before he can go into the portal representing his subconscious, Artemis grabs his hand and convinces him not to go by saying the Atlantean term for together, Symbiosi.

How Artemis knows Atlantean, albeit seemingly limited, is not explained but easily theorized. Artemis may have learned it during her unknown amount of years on the team. From the scene we get from the comic tie-in where she and Kaldur talk about their fathers gives an idea of what they could use in a way to connect. During that time, Artemis may have learned some of the terms used to understand the culture more. To be fair, Artemis always seemed to be accepting of other cultures and philosophies in general. Going back to ''Denial' she was the one between she and Wally who was willing to accept the idea of magic, and may have been the first one to really get close to Me'gan; at least in terms of fully human. This all makes sense for her character because if she wanted to be accepted into a group knowing her family history, why would she not to the same for other cultures and beliefs. Of course there is that amount of time where she and Kaldur were working together so they would have plenty of free time and maybe using Atlantean words as potential code words.

Me'gan, all but saying kill me to Tula, is finally getting a wake up call when Artemis comes carrying Kaldur, who runs into Tula where he regains his facial features.

Artemis tells Me'gan that she can feel bad about herself all she wanted, but only if she was willing to do something about it. Without too much of a need for a side-note as it does define Artemis' entire character in just a few words while also hearkening back to Manta's line earlier in the episode. Once Me'gan apologizes to Kaldur for what she did, she says they will fix his mind together.

Being shaken out of the the subconscious world by Manta, Artemis says that she feels that she has been standing here for hours; Manta reassures her that she has. Which is a nice little detail about how the psychic plain works; taking up real time unlike certain worlds from fiction where someone goes into this other dimension or world and once they get back to reality it appears no time has passed at all.

Kaldur says a few words to Manta to reassure him that they are making progress and this appears to pacify Manta enough so that he says that if Me'gan does her job well then he'll let her live.

This appears to only be a ruse as he asks for Artemis come outside for a word where he tells her that even though Me'gan seems to be cooperating more than expected, he'll still kill her once she's finished.

That's it for this one guys. Thanks for sticking with me for this trilogy. Once I come back with a likely two-parter with 'Complications'. After that, only two episodes left until season 3. Coming close to the end of my first chapter in what I hope to be a long-running series of character biographies and analysis.
