"There Will Always be a World to Save."

So, for the final episode of for my Artemis blogs, up to this point, we're going to do something a little nostalgic and a Hanukkah gift for fellow Jews. For this and the final two blogs, I will be posting these every two days so it should be finished before Hanukkah ends and hopefully mirrors my posting time when I started this blog. With that preamble, let's start the beginning of the end with 'Endgame'.

Since this episode takes place a day after 'Summit', there is little time wasted as Black Beetle follows through on his promise to destroy the earth. The process begins after Kaldur and Jamie take down Black Beetle.

The tools used to end the world are Reach suicide bombers in a sense, which create natural disasters around the world. As it is such a large volume of bombs to deal with in little time, any hero ever shown in the series we know are still alive(outside of Arsenal and most of the other Runaways), come together to down the bombs with technology Lex has created.

With each team in pairs, Artemis and Wally are sent to Paris to take the bomb down. The reasons why they go together are all too clear considering that both Artemis and Wally are mutually agreed that if they ever continue these missions(which as said in 'Summit' this is meant to be the last one before they go back into hiding), they would never be out of each others sight.

Wally being Wally says that they need to come back, "When there isn't a world to save." Artemis responds with the simple fact that, "There will always be a world to save.". This is something that seems to mean that although both seem to agree to go back, considering Artemis has recognized her addictive personality with this job and Wally has wanted to get out; now more so than ever. Consequently though, with all those years of both of them working to better the world, how could they stop. Somethings like threats that the Police, League or the Team could take of is one thing. Threats that are universal are another thing altogether.

At the same time, another way to look at that line is that they would both find ways to contribute to the safety of the world. Possibly going into: Law, Medical, or Emergency fields. Considering that both of them are extremely intelligent in their own ways, that's not too much of a stretch to believe that theory.

Once the bomb is disposed of, Wally and Artemis just take the time to enjoy the moment before they head back. As far as they know, they're part is done, mission accomplished. But reality will come crashing down on both of them in just a few hours.

That's it for this one guys. I am not rushing through this final episode because there is so much to talk about in each scene Artemis is in, so look forward to the final two parts in the following days. Thanks for reading, until next time.
